As a user, your job is to simply: Send legitimate referrals and Get Paid. That's about it. After you send a referral and the business accepts & validates it, we'll send you your payment. It's really that simple.

So why not just call up the biz yourself and give them the referral? Well for one, you aren't guaranteed that they'll pay up -- even if your referral is legitimate. Our process protects the user so that the business pays for the referral before they even receive it. Secondly, you'd be banking on the fact that somehow the business will find the time to write and send you a check. Not likely. With the Refural process, the business pays right away and we hold their payment for the validation period after which we send your compensation. The process is totally electronic and you just sit back and get paid. It's quick, easy and effective for everyone!

By now we’re sure that you already know but we’ll say it again for good measure: Submitting referrals is totally free and you may submit as many as you’d like. There are 2 ways for users to submit referrals:

  • Submit to Businesses that have a listing on Refural.com
  • Submit to New Businesses and invite them to participate

To help ensure quality referrals, we’ve implemented a validation period for businesses to contact and make sure the referral they’ve paid for is legitimate. Once they validate the referral OR the validation period expires, we will send you your payment.

First of all, we don't accept and will never except anything other than legitimate referrals. If a business decides that the referral isn’t legitimate, then we step in and investigate. At that point, we refund the business their compensation and notify the user that their referral has been rejected.

Once the business validates your referral OR the validation period expires, we will send your payment right away. The only way you won’t get paid is if you submit a referral that isn’t legitimate.

No problem. You can submit your referral to a New Business that doesn’t even know about Refural.com yet. If they are interested in obtaining your referral, they can set their compensation rate and pay for your referral. After they validate your referral OR the validation period ends, we’ll send your payment to you.

We need your name and email so we can send your payment. That is, unless you’d just like us to keep all the money.

Sure! In fact, it’s one of the fastest growing features of Refural. Let’s say that you’re in need of a new fence for your backyard. If you find a business on Refural that has a listing for landscaping or construction services, go ahead and send the referral entering your information in both the referral and user steps.

You can never have enough business right? We totally agree. That's why we started refural -- to help connect businesses with great referrals. As a business, you have the ability to set your own compensation rate for each referral. When a user sends a referral, we'll notify you and you can accept and pay for the referral.

But why would I pay for a referral without seeing it first you might ask? Because we'll refund your payment if the referral isn't legitimate. You either pay for and receive a great referral or you get your money back immediately. That's why we have the validation period -- to protect businesses. After you pay for and receive a referral, you must validate the referral within your designated validation period.

Submitting a listing for referrals is completely free for businesses. It's basically a way for businesses to say "Hey, i'm accepting referrals and will pay $x amount for each referral you send". When a user sends a referral, we notify the business and they securely pay whatever compensation they set in their listing. After payment has been processed, the business is immediately given the referral’s information.

Each time a user submits a referral, we pre-screen the refural to make sure it matches up with the business listing and does not contain incomplete or irrelevant information. We then contact the business and give them the option to accept and pay for the referral. Upon payment, they are immediately given the referral's information.

Businesses have 7 days (unless they choose a longer validation period) to validate whether a referral they’ve paid for is legitimate or not. If at any time during this period the business finds the referral to be fraudulent or falsified, we will investigate and after we validate that the referral is not legitimate, we'll refund their payment immediately.

Once you receive an email that a referral has been submitted, you can choose to accept and pay the compensation. This is done securely on Refural.com and all of your information will be kept confidential.

Contact us immediately and we will refund your payment. We take fraudulent referrals very seriously and will take the proper action to resolve the situation for you.

Well, that's unfortunate and you should be asking: why didn't that referral go with your business? It's our job to connect you with legitimate referrals. From that point forward, it's your job to close the deal.

If the validation period expires and you find that the referral is not legitimate, contact us and we will evaluate the situation on a case by case basis. While we are not required to refund your money after this period, we will try to work with the business to resolve the situation.

Sure, as long as your listings have different compensation amounts, validation periods or provisions. For instance, maybe you want to pay more of a compensation rate but include a provision that the referral must become a client or customer.

In your original confirmation email, there is a secure link to remove your listing which can be used at any time. You may also contact us and ask us to remove your listing and we will process that request within 24 hours.
